Neil Ingram works in the School of Education in the University of Bristol, where he helps to train new secondary science teachers. Recently, he has been part of a 16-19 curriculum review for the Royal Society of Biology.
He is interested in the potential impacts of genetics on society.
Neil has a PhD in genetics from the early days of genetic engineering and taught biology and psychology in schools, before becoming an academic in the University of Bristol.
He is developing a unit on Genetics, Society and Education for the School of Education in the University of Bristol.
